We had a lovely stay at Crystal Lake Resort while soaking in the beautiful fall colors at the Sleeping Bear Dunes. The resort was impressively clean and provided great value for our one-night stay. I appreciated the friendly owners and the picturesque location by the lake, making me eager to return for a longer trip with friends to enjoy the cottages. However, there were a few minor issues, like the bathroom door sticking and some light coming in from the motel's sign.
The room was clean, with new carpeting and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom did have a door that stuck a bit, which was somewhat inconvenient.
The owners were exceptionally nice and added to the welcoming atmosphere of the resort.
The resort's proximity to the dunes and local wineries was fantastic. It made exploring the area a breeze.
The overall facilities were well-kept, with a decent grassy area for relaxation and a nice beach with chairs to enjoy the sunset.

My stay at the Crystal Lake Resort was delightful, especially with a charming little beach perfect for families right on the lake. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and while the property has an older vibe, the updated carpets made a noticeable difference. Although it's not a luxury hotel, the comfort and value for money were great. However, being close to a busy road could be a concern for some, but it didn't bother me during my stay.

The resort is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Beulah and is a short drive to the Sleeping Bear Dunes and wineries.

My stay at this motel in Beulah was truly delightful. I loved the spacious and clean rooms, and waking up to beautiful views of Crystal Lake was magical. The private beach is a fantastic spot for relaxation, especially during sunset. However, it can get a bit crowded during peak season. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby attractions, including the Sleeping Bear National Forest and charming small towns. Overall, a great value for the money!

Staying at this resort was a mixed experience for us. The location right on Crystal Lake is stunning, with great views and a relaxing beach atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, but some small issues detracted from the stay. The service could be improved, especially regarding flexibility with reservations. Overall, we've enjoyed our time here, but there are definitely areas that could be refined to enhance the experience.
The room was clean and had nice new carpeting, making for a comfortable stay. However, the bathroom door stuck and there was no exhaust fan, which was a bit inconvenient.
The owner was initially nice, but the handling of our reservation cancellation left much to be desired. A bit more empathy in tough situations would go a long way.
The location is fantastic, right on the beach and very close to the Cherry Hut for delicious cherry pie. Perfect for a calm getaway.
The resort grounds were well taken care of with access to the beach and a nice grassy area, but the presence of ashtrays outside our door was a downside for us.
